This year saw the 5th incarnation of the Witch’s Hat in WA. Back to a South of the River venue, we were pleased to be hosted by Curtin University in Bentley. Player numbers were up again, though we still opted for 5 teams to prevent a weekend of Savage play. This year there were an incredible number of new faces, plenty of students from Curtin University and some from UWA as well as a sprinkling of the usual suspects and some international travelers. The sun was out, the wind was bearable, the food was tasty and the Spirit was palpable. |

The FEAR Ultimate Disc Club and WAFDA announce the first Come-And-Try clinic of the 2008-09 Summer season. If you've been waiting for a chance to learn how to play (or know someone else who has) or just want to improve your game now is the time to get into it! UPDATE: The original 3 week clinic has finished, but we are continuing with practice and pickup games until Christmas. So come along, bring some friends, and learn how to play! Experienced players also welcome. |
