There are a number of awards presented at Hobart Ultimate Leagues, including awards for: the player with most style in the final; the person who recruits the most players; the most improved new player; and the player who gives the most blood skin and guts to the turf in the final.

Up until 2003, the awards had "brand names", including the Cherry Ripe Award, for the player with most style in the final, the Violet Crumble award for the person who recruits the most players, the Tim Tam Award for the most improved new player and the Chupa Chups Guts award for the player who gives the most blood skin and guts to the turf in the final. In Summer 2003, a decision was made to turn these awards into generic awards.
