Having qualified for Nationals by finishing 4th in the Southern Australian Ultimate Championships, the Tiggers went on to play Nationals in Perth in April. Due partly to a lucky draw, but also through beating Fakulti RC in a crucial make or break game the Tiggers ended up 8th, ranked higher than two teams which beat them at the Southern Australian Ultimate Championships, Hot Chilly from Melbourne and Karma from Adelaide.
