There were also a range of photos taken at Two-Hat VII by various people. Following a media event at the North Hobart Oval, featuring the Lord Mayor of Hobart, Rob Valentine, the Hobart Mercury of Saturday October 8 featured a colour photo and article on the Two-Hat.
There was also a couple of short pre-event segments on local TV stations Southern Cross News, WIN News on Friday evening, with Southern Cross coming back to report the results on Saturday evening and ABC TV News providing 89 seconds of coverage on Saturday evening. Electronic version of all of these now appear at Matt and JK's new TUA gallery, including Two-Hat photos, 2005 Spring League photos and a collection of Two-Hat VII and Two-Hat V videos.
In addition to this TV news coverage, there was coverage on at least two ABC radio news bulletins, on Saturday focussing on the fact that all other sporting events were cancelled, and that the Two-Hat was on. On Sunday morning, the radio news again focussed on the weather, saying that only lightning stopped ultimate frisbee from being played.
