Minutes of the TUA Committee Meeting
8th December 2005, Shipwright’s Arms Hotel, Battery Point

Business arising from the minutes:

1. League organisers manual
Joe: to be passed onto Matt for Summer League
2. Spring League progress (Tim P)
From all accounts appears to be running well
3. Summer League
Rego is open, with early-bird fees to close next Monday (12th). Fee structure has changed with the addition of a late fee.
4. Nationals 2006 (Joe)
Mike: asked for up to $1000 as a loan to be repaid by June 2006 to pay for order of any new shirts needed for the Tiggers. Move to approve this motion passed.
5. Youth co-ordinator's report (Joe)
Joe: Juniors training camp in Sydney next month for World Juniors 2006. Joe has informed all juniors at Spring League with 2 interested. After much discussion by those present, it was decided that the TUA would not provide financial support for juniors to attend the training camp, but rather provide limited financial support for any Tasmanian juniors selected to the World Junior Championships team.
6. NUFL 2006
Mike: AFDA board has confirmed 2 Open’s and 1 Women’s NUFL tournaments pre-Nationals next year. They will be in February and March, with one in Sydney and one in Canberra.
7. Workers/Uni challenge (Joe)
         Joe: no game until next year, probably during O-week at Uni.
8. Southern Regional Championships (2006)
Mike: Appears that Melbourne will be host again. AFDA board has set aside the 11-12th March 2006 as the weekend for Regionals.
9. Nationals 2005 photos (Jem)
Jem: asked for up to $20 to purchase Tiggers team photo from Nationals official photographer. Move to approve this motion passed.

5. $600 for AFDA fees: Spring League
