Tasmanian Ultimate Association (TUA) Inaugural General Meeting.

17 March 2003. Meeting held on the boat in the playground near
Sandown Park, Lower Sandy Bay. Meeting opened 7:52pm.

Present: Jeff Dunn, Jemery Day, David Cooke, Madeleine Cahill,
Shavawn Donoghue, Joe Boyer, Frank Toman, Robin Fleming (late).

1. Apologies: Mamoru Matsuki.

2. Adoption of Constitution: Motion moved "that the TUA adopt the
Rules of the Tasmanian Ultimate Association as tabled at this
meeting". Moved Jemery, seconded Shavawn, unanimous approval.

3. Election of Office bearers: Single nominations were received
for each of the following positions: President - Jemery Day; Vice
President - Jeff Dunn; Treasurer - Shavawn Donoghue; Secretary -
Madeleine Cahill. These positions were all declared to be filled.
The following nominations were received and accepted for general
committee positions: Mamoru Matsuki, David Cooke, Joe Boyer, Frank
Toman, Robin Fleming.

4. Appointment of auditor: Brian Patrick was appointed as the TUA
auditor.

5. All positions within the TUA were declared to be honorary,
including the position of auditor. The committee wish to thank
Brian Patrick for agreeing to be an honorary auditor.

6. Motion moved "that the TUA complete the necessary paperwork to
apply for incorporation, pay the appropriate fees for
incorporation out of existing funds and once incorporated open a
bank account". Moved Jemery, seconded Jeff, unanimous approval.

7. Motion moved "that the TUA seek full affiliation with the
Australian Flying Disc Association". Moved Jemery, seconded Dave,
unanimous approval.
