A new batch of Discraft Ultrastars, (the preferred 175g disc for ultimate) are now (August 2005) available for sale either through Shavawn, or through Jeff (especially while Shavawn is in Antarctica!) and the University of Tasmania Ultimate Frisbee club. These discs come in red white and blue - don't be fooled by the orange looking photo! Expect to pay around $15 for a disc if you are in Tasmania. Second hand discs may also be available for about $10, if you are desperate.

These discs may be available for export, but they'll cost around $20 for north islanders (and they are a collector's item!). This price includes delivery to places like the Melbourne Hat tournament, but make sure you contact Shavawn and order a disc first.

The following Discraft Ultrastars, (the preferred 175g disc for ultimate) were available for sale through Shavawn in 2004 and the University of Tasmania Ultimate Frisbee club. These sold for around $15 per disc if you were in Tasmania, but they have all sold out now!

In October 2004, the first Tasmanian print on a Discraft Ultrastar was made, and the Tasmanian Ultimate Association bought a couple of hundred discs into the country.
