State Coaching Co-ordinators
Roles & responsibilities
- Represent their state or territory on the National Coaching Committee
- Work with the National Coaching Committee to ensure that their state has access to all AFDA coaching initiatives
- Annually develop a state coaching development plan
- Communicate AFDA coaching initiatives to their state
- Act as a point of contact in their state for Ultimate Frisbee Coaching
- Hear and resolve complaints against coaches, referring unresolvable complaints to the National Coaching Committee
- Oversee the organisation of coaching courses and the annual course timetable in their state.
- Maintain their state coaching database
- Liaise with state government and state coaching bodies to ensure AFDA participation in coaching events
- Look for opportunity to develop frisbee coaches outside the AFDA member base - focussing on teachers and university sports coaches
Qualifications and experience
- Experience with coaching ultimate frisbee
- NCAS Level 1 coach
- NCAS Level 2 coach
Appointment
Appointed by State Ultimate Frisbee Associations in consultation with National Coaching Coordinator for terms of office at their discretion.
