State Coaching Co-ordinators

Roles & responsibilities

Represent their state or territory on the National Coaching Committee
Work with the National Coaching Committee to ensure that their state has access to all AFDA coaching initiatives
Annually develop a state coaching development plan
Communicate AFDA coaching initiatives to their state
Act as a point of contact in their state for Ultimate Frisbee Coaching
Hear and resolve complaints against coaches, referring unresolvable complaints to the National Coaching Committee
Oversee the organisation of coaching courses and the annual course timetable in their state.
Maintain their state coaching database
Liaise with state government and state coaching bodies to ensure AFDA participation in coaching events
Look for opportunity to develop frisbee coaches outside the AFDA member base - focussing on teachers and university sports coaches

Appointed by State Ultimate Frisbee Associations in consultation with National Coaching Coordinator for terms of office at their discretion.
