Tom Brennan's Disc Golf Bag

Whippet - Purple - 142g

This is one of my favourite disc, although it is getting a bit beat up. I use it mostly when there is no headwind, and it flies pretty straight now.

Whippet - Purple - 147g

This one is much newer, so I don't use it as much yet. It is probably my best distance disc, but it is a bit harder to control as it doesn't fly as straight.

Whippet - Orange - 175g

I bought this one so I could still use a Whippet even if there was a headwind, but I don't seem to use it much. I still find it a bit difficult to control, and I don't quite have the arm speed to use it effectively.

Viper - Yellow - 178g

My driver of choice when there is any sort of a headwind. It always holds its line, and I feel like I have a reasonable amount of control while still getting a decent amount of distance. It is starting to get a little beaten up.

Scorpion - Yellow - 180g

This used to be the driver I used all the time, before I could control the Viper, and before I had broken in the Whippet. Looking back, it was probably a bit heavy, but it used to be my best distance disc, and I can probably still throw it further than the Viper. It just doesn't fly as well into the wind.

Barracuda - White - 186g

This was one I bought when I was still throwing with Stingrays and Cobras, since it seemed to be somewhere in the middle of those two. I never really used it much, but because of its large size, heavy weight and fairly flat profile I am starting to get some good rollers coming from it.

Condor - Green/Yellow - 190g

Now my least used disc. I got this one since it seemed most like an Ultra-Star, and I was (and still am) an Ultimate player. I used to use it quite a bit for approaches since I could grip it well, but I seem to have gone off it, and haven't used it in almost a year.

Stingray - Orange - 178g

My favourite disc when I first started, it is the only one of my original discs to survive. I still use it for throws when I don't want the disc to fade left, like shots across water.

Gazelle - Yellow - 176g

A disc I got as part of entry to a tournament. I've never really been able to throw it well, but I occasionally use it for straight throws which need to fall left at the end.

Ram - White - 142g

A disc I always carry. Used for those sharp dog-leg lefts, it is guaranteed to fade sharply at the end.

Aviar Putter - Red - 175g

My all time most used disc. I use it for anything closer than about 60m. It looks like it is about to fall apart, but still keeps on working.

Birdie Putter - Yellow - 175g

My backup putter, I haven't ever used it yet for anything more than practice.

Millenium Aviar Putter - Blue - 175g

I won this in a nearest to pin competition recently, but haven't had a chance to use it. I imagine it will replace the Aviar when it finally goes.
